BioDiving head first into the Live Journal community after years of glimpsing it and using other types of social interation webpages. Mostly using the site Tribe after trying sites like Friendster(toooo slooooow) and Free Association after Tribe had a brief bad spell of censorship and arrogance.
I'm a performer; have been most of my life, mostly doing events like Rennaisance Fairs and other historical renacting like Civil War and Victorian era. I sing, dance and have a BA in writing with some studies in art.
I love many forms of music, though being in High School in the early 1980's gave me a fondness for New Wave as well as old school Punk and oddly enough Hair Bands!
I did some competative Irish dancing as an adult looong before Riverdance and after the craze even did a small but lovely show at several Ren-Fairs for about 5 years called "Shanachie: The Challenge of the Sidhe".
I enjoy Adam Ant(& the Ants), Erasure, Def Lepard, Styx, Swing (old and new), musicals, Tori Amos, David Bowie the list goes on and on.
I watch Science Fiction TV and movies but not so much books.
I read Fantasy, fairy tales, classics(like Jane Austen and Charles Dickens)and humor.
Recently married to a wonderful man who made the ultimate sacrifice and moved away from friends and family to be with me. He has nto regreted it yet, hopefully he never will! :-)
